Allow manual data entry

We all use Google Analytics.

We encounter situations where conversions happen, but don't get captured by Google Analytics.

We also get hit with form spam that creates false conversions.

Sometimes we have tracking off for a short time.

With conversion tracking being one of the most important metrics, any invalid number can make reports from Google Analytics and subsequently Raven Tools inaccurate, misleading, and useless to agencies trusted to deliver truthful numbers.

Amid numerous requests to allow users to enter adjustments to the data that appears in reports, Google Analytics will not allow users to modify their data. Because of that, some of us are forced to build Excel spreadsheets to replicate corrected Google Analytics reports for our clients.

Raven has an opportunity to capitalize on a massive deficiency by allowing users to replace the numbers that get used and appear in reports.

One way is to not necessarily add a new set of traffic or conversion data. Just let us make a clone of the "Conversions" field.

For an example of why this is relevant, when you work with lead generation businesses, many conversions happen over the phone. Many of these conversions simply can't be tracked through Google Analytics, but these numbers are crucial. To get an accurate number of conversions and Cost Per Conversion, I need to be able to add the number of phone calls received from real prospects. The office receptionist keeps track of inbound calls and processes the inbound leads received through online forms and emails from people who found the business through their website. For tracking inbound leads, her numbers are very accurate and reliable. So, if we are running a monthly report, we could fix the otherwise inaccurate Raven reports by simply replacing the number of conversions with the value she manually calculates. Any value that has been replaced with an edited value could include a footnote symbol to indicate that the number represents a manually edited value.
